Sanitisation and redaction procedure: pesticide active substances
HSE is reviewing the process for sanitisation. The following information is subject to change and will be updated.
Retained Regulation (EC) 1107/2009 and retained Regulation (EC) 844/2012 require HSE as the Assessing Competent Authority, to make several types of documents available to the public at various stages of the new active substance and renewal of approval process.
Applicants may request information from the documents be kept confidential.
The sanitisation process will involve the submission of an HSE justification form for the removal of confidential information by the applicant, completed in line with Article 63 of retained Regulation (EC) 1107/2009.
HSE will decide on the eligibility of the claims for confidentiality presented.
