What you need to know

If you plant trees, you must minimise the risk of injury and ill health to yourself and your colleagues when using manual tools for tree-planting.

Ask your employer if you think there are ways to deliver plants mechanically so that you do not have to carry them around.
Don't try to carry too much.
If the plants have been treated with chemicals or pesticides, use the personal protective equipment your employer supplies
