RR187 - An evaluation of the Lifeskills - Learning for Living programme

The 'Lifeskills - Learning for Living' programme uses an interactive hands-on approach to teach safety skills to Year 6 children, aged 10 - 11 years. It aims to improve their awareness of potential dangers, their knowledge, their self-confidence and their performance of safety routines. An evaluation of the programme by a team from Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University, took place from March 2001 to September 2003.
