RR108 - The performance capabilities of crews of daughter craft involved in offshore operations in the oil and gas industries

Examines the demands and expectations placed on the crew of daughter craft (DC) involved in offshore operations. Reviews the nature of the demands, the tasks undertaken by DC crew and the potential influences on crew performance, using a variety of methods, including questionnaire, structured individual and group interviews, and direct observation and measurement. The performance of the DC crew was monitored in a range of conditions and in a variety of DC in the southern North Sea. Presents the results of crew performance in both non-emergency and emergency situations.
