This site will help you identify biocides and work out whether your products are affected by the laws that govern them. It also explains the process of applying for approval.
Regulation concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products was adopted on 22 May 2012.
It will repeal and replace Directive 98/8/EC, and will be applicable as of 1 September 2013.
The Regulation was published on 27 June 2012.
