Operational circulars are internal-only instructions and guidance that HSE employees use for regulatory operational work on inspecting, investigating, permissioning, and enforcing.
HSE publishes operational circulars when they include content that might be useful for dutyholders or other stakeholders. Operational circulars are up to date at the time of publication.
Operational circulars older than 6 years are hosted by The National Archive and are available below. This is in line with the HSE Retention Policy and generally applies to any operational circulars that are over 6 years old.
