Safety and health forums for higher and further education were established to improve occupational health and safety in these sectors.  The forums enable key stakeholders to work with HSE and contribute to delivery of HSE's Strategy in universities and colleges.

Further Education Safety and Health Forum (FESH)

The Further Education Safety and Health Forum (FESH) is a stakeholder forum established to deal at a strategic level with health and safety issues within the further education sector.

FESH strategy delivery tool

The FESH Forum has developed a tool to assist further education institutions in evaluating progress on delivery of the GB Strategy for health and safety. The tool is based on the principles developed by the Local Government Association's National Health and Safety Practitioner Panel. It can be found at the Association of colleges websites.
