Publications to help you interpret the law
This list will be updated as publications are withdrawn or revised.
The following publications contain Statutory Instruments and/or Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs). The latter have been approved by the Health and Safety Executive (formerly the Health and Safety Commission) with the consent of the Secretary of State and have a special status in law. Most of the titles contain guidance alongside the legislation which should help readers comply with the law. Additional guidance is available on the HSE website.
