The UK government is in advanced negotiations with the EU on a proposed SPS agreement.
If you work with biocides and an agreement is reached, you are likely to see changes to the rules you must follow. This includes active substance approvals and biocidal product authorisations.

A trade summit will take place on 20 November between the UK and the EU. This will provide an opportunity to review progress on a number of areas of cooperation, including the proposed SPS agreement. You can find out more about the summit on GOV.UK.
