Health and safety toolbox
FISA has continued to make progress in a number of subject areas, principally through the activities of various working groups.
At a recent meeting a guest speaker highlighted the importance of effective leadership in improving health and safety performance and the importance of managing near miss incidents as a means of reducing accidents.
An important development is the adoption by FISA of the AFAG guides relating to forestry work. These will be revised and republished under the FISA label.
