The following presentations can be used to train general workers, cleaning staff and maintenance workers. All contain speaker’s notes. The presentations will take about 20-25 mins to deliver; you can reduce the delivery time by deleting the case study slides. You can change images within the presentation for ones specific to your premises. Altering the text is not recommended. You will need WinZip or equivalent to open these files.


The introductory level quiz will allow you to check your workers understanding of slips and trips following completion of the introductory level course. You will need Adobe Acrobat reader to view these files.

Course completion certificates

Certificates have been created for you to provide to those who have successfully completed the introductory level and the accompanying quiz (see above). You can also print off a continuing professional development certificate if you have successfully completed the intermediate level of the course and associated quizzes. You will need to add the name of person who completed the course, the date and company logo. As the HSE cannot currently track your progress through the eLearning course, we are unable to declare you as being competent in slips and trips following completion of the course.
