Selecting Topsides Options Volume 1 : main report

The background to this study is that for new-build offshore installation projects, the concept selection process often leads to a light compact design selected on the basis of project economics with personnel risk reduction considerations coming in later. This feasibility study has been carried out to check the feasibility and costings of alternative design options for consideration in "reasonable practicability" in the ALARP process.
