CRR 314/2000 Work, health and safety in the UK oil and gas industry
This report describes findings from a survey of psychosocial aspects of work, health and safety among personnel in the UK oil and gas industry. The survey covers eight sites, operated by five different companies, in widely separated geographical areas. The overall response rate was 69%. Personnel from all occuaptional groups took part; the analysis reported here relates to 909 male employees in the seven major job categories. In addition to a detailed analysis of this data set, a further analysis is reported in which the onshore data are compared with a similar offshore data set obtained in 1995-6.
