Withdrawal of plant protection products containing the active substance tepraloxydim
Brexit: Transition period
The UK has now left the EU. Your health and safety responsibilities have not changed in the transition period.
Regulatory Update: 03/2015
Issued: 3rd February 2015
Commission Regulation (EU) No 1197/2012 extended the expiry date of the approval period for tepraloxydim from 31 May 2015 to 31 July 2017. This was to allow sufficient time to complete the procedure for renewal of approval under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009.
However, an application for renewal of the approval of tepraloxydim was not submitted by the deadline of 31 July 2014. The sole applicant informed the Commission and rapporteur Member State of its choice not to pursue further the application for renewal. Therefore, the original date of expiry (31 May 2015) has been re-instated by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/58.
