UK enforcement of maximum residue levels (MRLs) set for Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC) and Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride (DDAC)13 August 2015:CRD has issued a letter to stakeholders describing the UK’s approach to monitoring and enforcing maximum residue levels of dodecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC) and benzalkonium chloride (BAC) in food arising from the use of DDAC and BAC for disinfectant purposes. New MRLs are due to come into force from 12 August 2015.
