Regulatory Update: 09/2016

Issued: 24th March 2016

Rates to rise by 4% from 6 April 2016

All of HSE's cost recovery rates will be increasing by 4% from 6 April 2016.

This means that fees and charges will rise for the various regimes, including pesticides.

HSE has a duty to recover the costs of carrying out its regulatory functions from the businesses it regulates. This increase, along with other planned savings, will seek to move the various regimes towards full cost recovery.
