Case 96 - Office employee querying whether desks have to be a particular distance apart for health and safety reasons
An office employee is querying whether their desks have to be a particular distance apart for health and safety reasons.
This case does not provide sufficient information for the panel to make a decision. There may be legitimate health and safety concerns with regard to access, especially in emergencies such as fire. The panel can only recommend that the informant discusses with her employer with a view to determining what the specific nature of the "health and safety" concerns are.
