FLTA Safety Month: Safetember see danger...speak up!

Date and location

1st - 30th September 2016, throughout the month, location the Fork Lift Truck Association website.

Event overview

National Fork Lift Safety Week was launched by the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) in 2008 to raise awareness of the dangers involved in fork lift operations throughout the industry and to stress the importance of common sense measures that can make lift trucks safer and more efficient.

The FLTA put our money where our mouth is by providing a host of specially designed, free safety resources that were available to download for any company that wanted them.

And why were we doing it? Because every day men and women across Britain are being seriously injured, sometimes fatally, in fork lift truck accidents that are ENTIRELY preventable. For more information on what drove us to launch this campaign visit our 'Why Safety Month?' web page.
