Welsh Language Scheme

This has been prepared with the Welsh Language Board to the principle established by the Welsh Language Act that English and Welsh should be treated on the basis of equality.

The Scheme sets out HSE's commitment to delivering a Welsh language service that considers the demands from, and is relevant to, Welsh speakers.

Summary

HSE has been working with the Welsh Language Board to revise its Welsh Language Scheme. This is the result.

It sets out how HSE aims to provide a Welsh Language Service in its business in Wales.

This Scheme covers all aspects of work including:

• correspondence
• telephone communications
• meetings with the public
• campaigns
• publications including forms
