EEF/HSE Vibration surgeries 2008

Sharing experiences, good practice and lessons learnt

Following the success of the EEF/HSE Noise and Vibration Roadshows HSE is continuing its partnership with EEF – The Manufacturers’ organisation, are to hold three vibration surgery events.

The first two vibration surgeries  were held on 8 and 29 January 2008 in Sheffield and Birmingham. The final surgery will be held on Tuesday 24 June in Kent at the East Malling conference centre to:

The surgeries are for anyone using machinery or hand-held vibrating tools or other vibrating equipment who would like to learn more and share their experiences in managing vibration risks.

What are the surgeries about?

The surgeries will tackle four main areas:-

and will aim to answer (with HSE Vibration and Occupational Health specialists) any other questions which you have.

Companies who have overcome difficulties in managing vibration risk together with specialists on vibration and occupational health from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and advisers from EEF
