Styleguide
This page gives a step by step guide to creating HTML pages in the HSE new branding
You will need the following to create new pages for website or intranet:
The HSE web standard comprises 3 dreamweaver templates, and a set of colours. Before you create your page, you must decide what template to use, and what colour scheme your page will employ
All pages in the HSE web standard use the same banner(also called the "header") and footer.
There are three page layouts to choose from, and each has different intended uses.
More information, and examples of how the three pages look, is on the templates page.
Your choice of colour scheme is dependent on the sort of page that you are producing.
Most pages have the maroon (default) colour scheme, with the following exceptions:
There are other colour schemes available. The assignment rules for these are in the process of being revised, and will appear here shortly.
Save the page that you created above (in Do It #1). Now, click the purple "HSE" logo on your "insert" menu (it appears on the "common" tab within this menu).
A dropdown box will appear. Select the colour scheme that you require from the dropdown list.
You should only select the colour scheme once per page.
The next step is to place your content on the page, and format it using the styles available.
