Bullying at Work - Ban Bullying at Work Day (Wednesday 7 November 2007)
Both the Health and Safety Commission and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly condemn any form of harassment or bullying at work. Bullying is a form of organisational violence and, if not dealt with properly, can be a potential source of work-related stress. As such, HSE encourages organisations to address bullying as part of it's wider Stress Programme.
Ban Bullying at Work Day, spearheaded by The Andrea Adams Trust, is now in its fifth year. The campaign this year is centred on providing opportunities for both organisations and individuals to speak out on the issue of bullying at work.
