Mesothelioma statistics

The latest national statistics on mesothelioma produced by the Health & Safety Executive were released on 20 June 2008 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

Statistics on mesothelioma mortality in Great Britain includes data by local and unitary authorities for the period 1981 – 2005 and by occupation for the period 2002 - 2005.

The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 27 April 2007.
