The geographical distribution of work-related mental ill health cases reported through THOR is shown in Table THORP03. More detailed regional breakdowns of self-reported work-related stress, depression or anxiety from SWI05/06 are shown in Tables STRGOR1E, STRGOR1W12  (prevalence),  and STRGOR2W12 (incidence). SWI05/06 indicates that there is no significant differences in incidence rates of self-reported work-related stress, anxiety and depression between countries in Great Britain. However, the prevalence rate of self-reported work-related stress, depression or anxiety for people every employed was significantly lower in Wales compared to England.

Comparison of English regions against England as a whole indicate no regional differences in the prevalence rate of self-reported work-related stress, depression or anxiety. However, the incidence rate for people working in the last 12 months was significantly lower in the East of England compared to England as a whole. No other statistically significant regional differences were evident.
