The British Safety Council has launched a health and safety campaign aimed at businesses - phase one focuses on hand and arm protection.
The British Safety Council has launched a new campaign called Changing the habits of a lifetime.
It is aimed at businesses with the aim of understanding the key health and safety issues affecting their staff.
Through a series of surveys and using the 'Changing the habits of a lifetime' microsite as a portal, the British Safety Council is engaging with members and organisations alike, conducting research and sharing resources.
The first area covered is hand and arm protection and to launch the campaign, the British Safety Council has teamed up with Marigold Industrial to devise a survey to understand how well organisations understand the regulations and issues around correct glove selection across all workplaces.
The survey will also inform the next area that the British Safety Council looks at, so log on complete the survey and share your best practice and resources.
