Accidents in the workplace can shatter lives
Brenda was at work doing the same job she had been doing for over 10 years. She knew her work place well, so she felt safe. But this was all about to change. While carrying a box of vegetables through the kitchen Brenda slipped and badly fell on spilt cooking oil.
The oil had seeped from a deep fat fryer that was being cleaned; carelessness meant it wasn't cleared up, leaving Brenda severely hurt.
