Section 18 Standard toolkit - Element 9

The Section 18 Standard requires every enforcing authority (EA) to:

  • ensure their views are represented within liaison, policy and governance groups at local, regional and national levels; and
  • ensure they provide information to politicians, senior managers and practitioners on the decisions of such groups and on their work as regulators.
