The Scottish collaboration between HSE, the Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives, Scottish Chamber of Safety and RoSPA - to develop a simple tool to help businesses understand how to manage occupational health risks has won several awards.
It is now being rolled out across the UK supported by Safety Groups UK and many trade bodies. With over 70 Safety groups taking part and offering training in their local areas, it is envisaged that demand for the materials and opportunities to engage smaller firms, will be high. Health Risks at Work is open to everyone to use the materials within their own organisations and to pass on its information, support and guidance to smaller organisations for example in their supply chains, to help them reduce exposures in the workplace.
To coincide with the UK launch, the web pages have been redesigned and all the initiative materials and videos are now available on pages relating to each topic area.
