This event has been organised in partnership between HSE and QPA Scotland and the target audience will be those who have responsibility in the quarries and open cast coal mining industry. The main speakers will include Paul Stollard, HSE Director Scotland; Elaine Taylor, Head of Safety Division of the Procurator Fiscal's Office; Colin Mew, Principal Inspector of the National Team and Roy Bush from the Quarries Sector who is responsible for developing national policy on quarry matters. A buffet lunch will be provided.
