Human and organisational factors in offshore safety

Presents the results of a project which investigated human and organisational factors in offshore safety. The study comprised three phases of work with the following objectives: to measure human and organisational factors previously identified as most important for offshore safety; to examine the role of the supervisor in determining safe working practices in their teams or crews; to investigate human factors coding systems and training practices in high hazard, high reliability industries.
