Blast and shock induced vibrations in offshore jacket installations

Considers various accidental loads and predicts the vibrations which result, a major part of the study was devoted to blast loading, other types of loading examined included; ground movement, ship impact and dropped loads. It concluded that there was little risk of direct injury from strong vibration, but the risk of indirect injury from falls and projectiles resulting from vibration was much greater.
