The thirty-first meeting of the Research Ethics Committee will be held on Thursday 12 June 2003 in the Fortune Room, Rose Court, London.
The meeting will begin at 11.00am
AGENDA
1. Introductions and apologies.
2. Minutes of the thirtieth meeting - 13 March 2003 (ETHCOM/MIN/03/01).
3. Matters arising (not covered by agenda):
(i) oral update on submissions considered at previous meeting:
- The assessment of musculo-skeletal loads on ambulance personnel arising from the use of emergency carry chairs (ETHCOM/REG/03/01).
- Dislodgeable residues from timber treated with copper/chrome/arsenic preservatives. (ETHCOM/REG/03/02).
(ii) paragraph 5 – Dr Rawbone to report on progress with paper ETHCOM/MISC/02/01.
(iii) paragraph 7 – Dr Raw bone to report on progress with improving communications with external researchers
(iv) paragraphs 17&18 – Chair to report on discussion with the HSE Chief Scientist on raising the awareness of the REC.

(ETHCOM/REG/03/03). HSE sponsors and the research team will make presentations to the Committee in support of this study.
