Examination of the role of signal transduction and oxidative stress in mineral fibre-induced cell proliferation

Cell signalling pathways mediated by oxidative stress leading to cell proliferation has been implicated as a mechanism of carcinogenesis. This study was designed to investigate whether asbestos-mediated oxidative stress activates signalling pathways important in cell proliferation.
