Like road vehicles adequate signage should be erected, to cover speeds, directions, warnings such as obstructions or gradients, give-away and stop signs at junctions.
The signs should be clear and unambiguous, here the visitor is able to see where to park cars
The signs should were possible copy road traffic signs so that people readily understand what they mean.
Priority for vehicles is clear, note the segregation for pedestrians.
