It focuses on reducing the noise risks associated with kerbside collection of glass for recycling. It gives guidance on assessing the risk, measures to reduce or eliminate the risk, and the appropriate use of personal hearing protection in circumstances where it is not reasonably practicable to reduce noise levels below prescribed action levels.
