This Code applies to all diving projects outside UK territorial waters adjacent to Great Britain (generally 12 nautical miles from the low water line) covered by the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (Application outside Great Britain) Order 1995.
This includes UK designated areas of the continental shelf connected with offshore installations, wells and pipeline works and those parts of mines, which extend outside the 12-mile limit.
