Example 9 - Using Hearing Date to find Breaches
Use the following steps to find all Breaches that were heard as part of a Case on a given hearing date.
1 On the Home Page, click on Simple Search
2 In the Cases or Breaches box select Breaches
3 Click on Continue
4 In the Search Item box select Hearing Date.
5 Click on Continue
6 In the "Enter (part of) the Hearing Date" box, enter "15" in "DD", "07" in "MM" and "1999" in "YYYY", this will return all Breaches heard as part of Cases on 15th July 1999.
If you do not know the exact date, you can enter just the month (MM) and Year (YYYY) elements of the date, e.g. "DD" is blank, "MM" is "07" and "YYYY" is "1999", would return all Breaches heard in July 1999. If you only enter "1999" in the "YYYY" element, then all Breaches heard in 1999 will be returned.
If you change your mind and you wish to search for Breaches or Cases using an alternative criteria, click on start again, which will return you to the Cases or Breaches select box.
7 Click on Go to begin your search.
8 In a few moments, a hit list of Breaches heard on the hearing date you entered, is displayed.
9 Click on the Breach Number to view the Breach in more detail. E.g. Hearing Date, Court Name, Result, Fine etc.
10 Use the Back button on the Toolbar, to return to the list of Breaches
