Example 4. Using Local Authority where Offence Occurred to Find Case Details
Use the following steps to find all Cases where the Offence occurred within a given Local Authority E.g. Aberdeenshire.
1 On the Home Page, click on Simple Search
2 In the Cases or Breaches box select Cases.
3 Click on Continue
4 In the Search Item box select Local Authority where offence occurred
5 Click on Continue
6 In the Enter (part of) Local Authority text field type as much of the Local Authority name that you know. E.g. Aberdeenshire.
Please Note:
The search will be done using the text you entered as part of the name of the Local Authority, i.e. AB, will return Results with "Babergh", "Aberdeen" and "Aberdeenshire" as the Local Authority where the Offence occurred.
7 Click on Go to begin your search.
8 In a few moments, a hit list of Cases where the Offence occurred within the Local Authority entered, is displayed.
9 Click on the Case Number to view the Case in more detail. E.g. Offence Date, Total Fine, Location of Offence and HSE Details.
10 Use the Back button on the Toolbar, to return to the list of Cases
