HSE RELAUNCHES ITS RAIL SAFETY WEB PAGES

The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has relaunched its web pages covering rail safety at http//www.hse.gov.uk/railways

Visitors to the revamped pages will find guidance on rail health and safety and information about how HSE, as the independent regulator for health and safety, does its job. There is also news on HSE's HM Railway Inspectorate's (HMRI) main investigations, how rail health and safety law applies in Great Britain, and access to key rail public inquiry reports.

I want this site to become our prime source of easy to understand and up-to-date information on rail health and safety. With that in mind, I would welcome feedback from those who visit the pages - passengers, workers and others who are involved or interested in improving rail safety standards. We would like to involve all parts of the industry and the travelling public in further developing the pages over the coming months"

2. HSE decided to revamp its rail safety web pages by improving the layout and structure to make it easier for visitors to navigate. These pages are among the most visited on the HSE website.
