The Channel Tunnel Safety Authority (CTSA) has today published
its Annual Report for the period from
1 April 2002 to 31 March 2003.
The Report covers the work of the CTSA and its Working Groups. Key features include:
The report also comments on the development of new Eurotunnel works associated with the connection between the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Eurotunnel Concession, and highlights consideration given to the potential impact on Eurotunnel's operation of industrial action by the UK Fire Brigades Union.

The CTSA advises the UK and French Intergovernmental Commission on all matters relating to safety in the operation of the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link. The CTSA has five members from the UK and five from France and is chaired in rotation between the two countries. It is serviced by five Permanent Working Groups.
