Revision of the Labelling Handbook.

Following the publication of the Labelling Handbook on the PSD Website on 3 May 2002, work has been ongoing to complete the guidance on labelling of amateur products.

This Regulatory update launches Part D of the Labelling Handbook. It highlights the main differences and similarities between professional and amateur labels and explains the implementation procedure.

PSD is currently working on a new database of Specific Off-Label Approvals (SOLA)s and Extension of Use approvals to replace the existing SOLA Database. This update describes progress on the new database and also gives details of some administrative changes to the procedures for issuing off-label approvals.
