Organisational structure
ONR is organised in to operational delivery programmes to reflect nuclear industry sectors.
The ONR Executive Management Team is responsible for the running of ONR.
Mike Weightman is the HM Chief Inspector of Nuclear Installations and Head of ONR.
ONR employs around 450 staff and is governed by a Board of executive and non executive directors.

ONR Corporate planONR Board
The ONR Board has corporate responsibility for ensuring that ONR fulfils the aims set out in the framework document and any objectives and key performance measures agreed under it.
Executive Management Team
This team will work with the new ONR Board in running the organisation and will formally meet on a monthly basis sanctioning the papers that will need Board approval.
Programme working
ONR has reorganised into a new operational delivery programme structure to reflect nuclear industry sectors and is continuing with the reorganisation of cross-cutting and business support functions.
