Bradwell was visited for routine inspections and meetings on two occasions during this quarter. The visits were made on the following dates:
1 – 3 October 2007
10 – 13 December 2007
The main thrust in this period has been concerned with Berkeley’s continued compliance with the requirements of the Nuclear Site Licence. Decommissioning project work has been slowed or deferred following reduced NDA funding.
The site inspector reviewed progress with the cooling pond clean up and ILW sludge removal and storage projects and found that these projects were progressing in a safe and compliant manner.
