Wylfa Nuclear Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Wylfa Nuclear Power Station, Magnox North Ltd, to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 25th March 2009. Oldbury Nuclear Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Oldbury Nuclear Power Station, Magnox Electric Ltd, to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 18th February 2008. Dungeness A Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Dungeness A Power Station, Magnox Electric Ltd. to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 13th July 2006. Sizewell A Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Sizewell A power station, Magnox Electric Ltd. to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 23rd May 2006. Chapelcross Nuclear Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Chapelcross Power Station, Magnox Electric Ltd. to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 26 September 2005. Calder Hall Nuclear Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Calder Hall Nuclear Power Station, British Nuclear Group Sellafield Ltd, to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 21 June 2005. Hinkley Point A Nuclear Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Hinkley Point A Nuclear Power Station, Magnox Electric plc, to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 10 July 2003. Bradwell Nuclear Power Station

HSE granted consent to the licensee of Bradwell Nuclear Power Station, Magnox Electric plc, to carry out a decommissioning project under the regulations on 5 December 2003. HSE has published a report. Regulation 13 determinations

Regulation 13 of EIADR apply to all decommissioning projects that began after the regulations came into force (19 November 1999) and to existing decommissioning projects that commenced prior to 19 November 1999 that are subject to a change or extension, which may have significant adverse effects on the environment.  In cases where a project is subject to such a change, the licensee must apply to HSE for a determination as to whether an environmental impact assessment is required.

Berkeley Nuclear Power Station

HSE has made a determination under regulation 13 of EIADR that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required under those regulations for the change to the decommissioning project at Berkeley Nuclear Power Station. Windscale Piles Decommissioning Project

HSE has made a determination under regulation 13 of EIADR that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required under those regulations for the change to the Windscale Piles decommissioning project at the Windscale Nuclear Licensed Site.
