 Using Geographical Search

Help Overview

If you wish to search for Notices, by geographic area, then you need to use the Geographical Search.

Click on Geographical Search button Geographical search button graphicon the Home Page.

The Geographical Search  allows you to search for Notices where:-

You can also use the geographical search to find Notices using town/city or the postcode where the offence took place.

* The Railways Inspectorate (RI) do not record the location of a incident using any of the Geographical options set out above. Therefore searches against these options will exclude Notices issued by RI. The RI National link allows a search for Notices issued by RI on a national basis from the Geographical search screen.

Please Note:

For Notices issued in Ireland, please refer to the Health & Safety Authority Ireland and the Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland websites.

Throughout the Geographical Search, you can either; select the geographic area required from a pick list, or click on the relevant area on the map provided (except for RI National).  To make locating specific areas on a map easier, each area is shown in a unique colour and a text label is displayed when you hover the "mouse pointer" over the map.
