Example 2 - Find All Notices where the Offence occurred before 2000, the location where the offence occurred is Liverpool and the Industry where the offence occurred was not Construction. (Uses three search criteria with Operands)
Use the following steps:-
1 On the Home Page, click on Advanced Search
Add your 1st criteria to the search
2 Select All Notices by clicking on the circle alongside.
3 Click on Continue
4 In the Search Item box select Date Notice was issued.
5 Click on Continue
6 In the "Enter Issue Date DD/MM/YYYY" operand list, select "<" and enter "01/01/2000" into the blank field. See Operand or Condition for more details on how to use the operands with dates.
7 Click on Add
Please Note:
In the Current Search Criteria area, the criteria "issue date < 01/01/2000" is displayed. If you wish to see the results using only this criteria, then click on Go now. Click the Back button on the Toolbar to return to your search.
Add your 2nd criteria to the search
8 In the Additional criteria condition box select AND
9 Click on Continue.
10 In the Select Search Item box, select Local Authority where offence occurred.
11 Click on Continue.

Add your 3rd criteria to the search
14 In the Additional criteria condition box select NOT.
15 Click on Continue.
16 In the Search Item box, select "industry where offence occurred".
17 Click on Continue.
18 In the Industry List box, select "Construction".
Liverpool NOT industry where offence occurred = Construction. If the criteria are entered incorrectly then click on start again to clear the search criteria and refresh the page or use the back button on the toolbar to move back one step at a time.19 Click on Add.
Please Note: In the Current Search Criteria area, three criteria are displayed; Date Notice was issued < 01/01/2000 AND Local Authority where offence occurred CONTAINS
20 Click on Go within the "Current Search Criteria" area to start the Search and find the Results.
