Organised jointly between the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) and HSE, these workshops aim to explore the role of providers of expert advice in occupational noise. It is intended to provide a forum for discussion, sharing of experience and learning on how giving the right advice can help employers to reduce the chances of workers suffering disabling hearing loss. Consultants practicing in noise exposure assessment, noise risk assessment, noise risk management or technical/engineering noise control are likely to find the workshops to be of interest. Two workshops are currently planned:
13th of May in Merseyside, and
15th May in Bedfordshire.
