HSE's website is changing

example new designs

You may have noticed some of our websites have changed recently:

The new designs are the first step towards improving HSE's Website - including all areas of the site dedicated to individual industries and health and safety topics. Have a browse through some draft designs?

Many of the improvements are based on your recommendations - so we hope it's easier for you to keep up to date with change and find the guidance, case studies, videos, presentations etc. you need.

The next major instalment is on June 3. You'll see a new HSE homepage and major changes to 'News, 'Guidance', 'About HSE' and 'Contact Us' pages.

Having listened to your views on the HSE Website - we're keen to keep listening. The new website site has an 'About you' page - where, among other things, you can let us know what you'd like to see on our website in future.

Every week until March 2010 - we'll launch at least one new 'micro-site' for a specific industry or health and safety topic. We're also working on better ways to present video, make more of online communities etc. If you sign up to our weekly free eBulletin - you'll see what's new.

Our aim to provide the best possible support for HSE's new strategy (due 3 June) - and encourage you to be part of the (online) solution!
