29 April 2009 - Body found near Beryl Alpha offshore platform
At approximately 3:00am on Tuesday 28 April 2009, HSE was informed that a male worker at the Beryl Alpha offshore platform had been reported missing.
A body has now been found, but it is yet to be identified. The cause of the incident is not yet known.
HSE is monitoring the situation closely.

At 3am on Tuesday 28 April 2009, HSE was informed that a male worker at the Beryl Alpha offshore platform had been reported as missing. A full scale emergency search and rescue response with police and the other emergency services is currently underway. HSE is liaising closely with ExxonMobil and the emergency services.
