Provides for a more detailed analysis of the technology. Work with HSE’s Nuclear Safety Directorate and manufacturers to identify “Vital Areas” for security and those Computer Systems that will impact on safety.
Provides a detailed assessment of the environmental implications. The Environment Agency then consult on their preliminary view of whether a statement of design acceptability might be issued. We will make a final decision after considering the consultation responses.
